There are two kinds of prayers. One is a prayer that you pray to hashem, and one is a prayer that you do with your own deeds.
If you really meant business, if you really want to make money, you'd hustle. If you sit back and say, "Let Hashem do it; I'll pray to Him," then you don't really mean it. Money should fall from the sky? Of course you are willing to take it. But that's no willingness. Willingness means that you're ready to get up in the morning, and you never miss opening your store on time; you're always there on time. You do the job right. You do a good job, so the customer should be satisfied. If you're a merchant, you should be polite to your customers. they should want to come again. -- Calling in Truth (#135)
