The benefits of shtika (silence) includes all the words which result from midos raos (bad character traits) like lashon hara (hurtful speech) and even dvarim betailim (empty speech), because all quarrels come from talking without zehirus (caution). And as a result, most sickness is caused by the relations between people: jealousy, anger, etc...
Some of the photos and letters that will appear here are courtesy of Rabbi Chaim Morgenstern, a talmid of Rav Miller when he was a Mashgiach in Mesivta Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin. We thank him for providing us with some pictures and for letting us publish the letters of correspondence that he had with Rav Miller when he went to study in Eretz Yisroel.
Some of the correspondence is in reference to Rav Miller’s sefarim which Rav Morgenstern sold during his former years in Eretz Yisroel.
